SPONSOR DAYS
This School Fundraising initiative is a football skills based challenge day for boys and girls. Previous challenge days have been a resounding success providing schools with much needed funds. KLCF will organize and run the event prior to speaking to the school on the desired format. The school pupils collect sponsors to participate in the challenge day with a percentage going back to the school and an amount going to KLCF to cover all costs of administration, coaching staff and equipment.
After the event the KLCF coach will come into a school assembly where all pupils will receive a certificate to mark their achievement. Local press will also be invited in to cover the event ( subject to availability ). Previous schools within the area have raised massive amounts of funds. Here are just a few of the monies raised in 2006.
St Georges School raised £815!!! Smithdon High School raised £1200!!!
LUNCHTIME CLUBS
Schools are able to tailor these Lunch Time Clubs to suit their needs. Schools may use the Lunch Time Club as an incentive for good behaviour. The coach would be able to come into the school for lunchtime either before or after the pupils have had their lunch. The lunchtime club would be an opportunity for children to play games in a structured environment.
HOMEWORK CLUBS
Homework clubs are very flexible and can be suited to cater for whatever the schools needs are. They run before school, dinnertime or after school. Some schools would run a homework club after school and incorporate it by getting the pupils to do homework for 30 minutes and then playing football in a fun environment for 45 minutes.
HOLIDAY SOCCER SCHOOLS
Soccer Schools are held at local High Schools around the region from between 2-10 days in every school holiday depending on the length of the break.
