KLCF Advanced Boys

Kings Lynn Community Football runs Advanced boys squads for the following age groups : U8’s, U9’s, U10’s, U11’s, U12’s, U13’s, U14’s, U15’s (Invitation Only).

These squads take part in advanced coaching sessions on a weekly basis under the guidance of UEFA A and B Badge coaches. The squads have been formed through open trials and also players who have progressed through one of the scheme’s satellite player development centres.

These squads have the opportunity to play regular advanced fixtures throughout school holidays. Fixtures are played against local professional and semi professional clubs such as Norwich City FC, Rushden and Diamonds, Boston United, Histon Hornets FC and Dereham Town FC. Players also have the opportunity of trials with some of these local professional clubs.

Advanced Squads also take part in a annual residential training camp at Bircham Newton C.I.T.B and also tours abroad to countries such as Italy. In 2004 advanced squads from the scheme had the rare opportunity to play against the Juventus FC full academy teams at Juventus FC‘s training ground in Turin Italy.

The scheme encourages players to continue playing with there local colts team as it feels this is an important factor in a players development.

Beyond our U15 age group players then progress into the Kings Lynn FC Youth Team, A team, Reserves and First team. Thus offering players a clear pathway from U’8’s to Kings Lynn First Team.
